Exploiting Licensing Opportunities Through Book Fairs: Translation, Digital and Other Subsidiary Rights

A free one hour seminar chaired by Nick Evans
Speakers: Jamie McOuat, Rights Focus Ltd and Julie McNair, Publishing Consultant.  This seminar will cover many aspects of licensing opportunities including researching licences at LBF in advance of the Frankfurt Book Fair, setting up appointments with the appropriate contacts, rights guides versus sales catalogues, translation terms basics, Non-Disclosure Agreements and more. It will also demonstrate the importance of digital distribution and licensing agreements and the opportunities to build revenues from both front and back list.
